We pick you up from Srinagar airport on a shared transfer and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon you walk through Nishat and Shalimar Bagh, then spend an hour on Dal Lake in a shikara before dinner. Overnight in Srinagar.
The shared vehicle leaves at 8 am and climbs through Tangmarg to Gulmarg, roughly two hours from Srinagar. The rest of the day is yours in the meadow, and Gondola Phase I is there if you want it, at your own cost. You are back in Srinagar by evening.
If you can face the alarm, the floating vegetable market on Dal Lake happens around sunrise and is worth the early start. After that, head into the old city for Jamia Masjid, the Shah-e-Hamdan shrine and the handicraft lanes. Call or WhatsApp our office if you need anything during the day.
