A shared transfer brings you from the airport to your hotel. Spend the afternoon at Nishat and Shalimar Bagh, then an hour on Dal Lake in a shikara as the sun goes down. Overnight in Srinagar.
In the morning you drive up through Tangmarg to the Gulmarg meadow, which sits at about 2,650 m. The day is free for walking, or for the Gondola if you want it (tickets are extra). Back down to Srinagar for the night.
On the way out you pass the saffron terraces at Pampore and the roadside yards where Kashmir willow is cut for cricket bats. The afternoon is for the Lidder river, which runs right past town. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Betaab and Aru valleys are reached by the local union taxis, which you pay for there. If the weather holds, walk up towards Baisaran. You drive back to Srinagar in the evening.
If your flight is later in the day, take a walk through the old city bazaar first. Then a shared drop to the airport.
