Gulmarg Winter Ski Escape

Gulmarg in January and February is one of the best-value places in the world to ski powder. This trip gives you three full days on the mountain, with ski equipment, Gondola tickets for both phases and two half-day sessions with a certified instructor if you have never skied before.

You stay four nights at a heated resort in Gulmarg with all meals included, so once you are up there the only thing to plan around is the weather. Non-skiers have plenty to do too: sledging, snow-mobiling and the view from Apharwat at the top of the Gondola, though snow-mobile and sledge rides are paid for separately.

Bring proper winter clothing. Gulmarg in mid-winter is often well below zero, and the resort's heating does not follow you onto the slopes.
