Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your single room in Srinagar. In the evening there is a shikara ride on Dal Lake with a cup of kahwa, then a walk along the lakefront. Overnight in Srinagar.
Start with the floating vegetable market at sunrise, then the Mughal gardens, the Shankaracharya temple and the handicraft lanes of the old city. The car and driver are yours all day, so stop wherever you like.
Gulmarg is about two hours' drive from Srinagar. Take Gondola Phase I up to Kongdoori and, if the weather allows, Phase II to Apharwat (tickets are extra). Come back down to Srinagar in the evening, or stay the night up there - just tell us at breakfast.
A full day out to Pahalgam by way of Pampore, roughly three hours each way, so expect a long day in the car. You see Betaab and Aru valleys and walk along the river before heading back to Srinagar.
A slow breakfast, then a private drop to the airport timed to your flight.
